Yesterday I introduced the first half of my top 10 albums of the year.  Today, we round out the final 5!

Note: With these top 5, the number one spot rotates daily for me,  this must've just been how I was feeling today!

Top 10 Albums of 2010: 10-6

There are SO many top 10 lists around, and I rarely agree with any of them.  This year though, I have my OWN blog, and I can voice my OWN opinion!

So here we go, the first half of my top ten albums of 2010 (oh, and also- I'm in NO means a music connoisseur and have absolutely NO commentary on this music, this is just shit I like, mkay?)

10. Ray Lamontagne- God Willin' and the Creek Don't Rise

9.  Beach House- Teen Dream

8.  The Tallest Man on Earth- The Wild Hunt

7.  Woods- At Echo Lake (note- this also wins my "Best Album Cover of the Year" award!)

up next from last thursday night was sleigh bells.  these guys are CRAZY, and the audience was super into them, so I didn't get as many good shots as i wanted too.  i was literally scared that i would get trampled.  so i hung out with the guys from ghoul poon at a safe distace, but still managed to get some pretty interesting shots regardless...

last thursday i went to check out ghoul poon and sleigh bells' sets at valentines. fabulous shows!

first up: ghoul poon with special guests mike and nico from severe severe.  this was the first time these guys had played together in public, and it really did not sound like it.  they rocked the house out, and i was pretty disappointed that their set wasn't longer!

I had posted earlier some sketched for some new products i'm thinking of carrying in my etsy store. here's the prototype for a mug cozy that i hope people will find adorable!

another item from the same post, iphone/ ipod cozies! i haven't completely finished them, but i'm thinking of using some vintage buttons to fasten them. i had to make one for myself so my phone wasn't damaged from the jungle that happens in my purse...

i've decided on these color combos for now...

we also braved the coldest day of the year to walk to the egg to see the frank vignola quintet. even though we were the youngest people in the crowd by far, we managed to have a really great time!
