January Laughs on Lark

Last week was another installment of the Laughs on Lark series- the BEST comedy show in the capital district.  Obviously I was there, front row, and equipped with a camera!  It was a great night spent with three of my favorite ladies, and lots of laughs to go around!

December Laughs on Lark

I was SO excited for this months LOL.  If you haven't heard me talk about this event before, it's a comedy show that Matt Kelly and Jaye McBride have been putting on for the past couple of months.  Each month features new comedians.  It's held at Elda's on Lark Street at 9pm on the second Wednesday of each month (usually!).  This one was super duper for me because: it was probably the best line up yet, I had a new camera to shoot it with, and we had the sign printed that I created, just for the event!

I was really pleased that my camera was able to capture some cool moments during the night, despite how dark it was in there!

 I missed some of Vernon Payne's set meeting a friend outside, but from what I caught- it was hilarious!

I had never seen Michael Raive before, but he was great!

I really urge you guys to come out to the next one.  It's a great time at a really nice bar!  Laughs can really warm you up in the winter, you know!

Laughing on Lark Street

Last week was the November edition of Laughs on Lark.  If you haven't been, you should check out the next one in December.  This event was created by Matt Kelly and Jaye McBride.  They wanted a place to do comedy in the neighborhood, so they created Laughs on Lark.  They choose 4 comics each month, and put on a 2 hour show at Elda's on Lark Street.  It's an awesome time getting some laughs, drinking big glasses of wine (or vodka tonic if you're CAPow!), and sitting on comfy couches!

I got a SUPER close spot behind the comics this time around, so my pictures didn't turn out so great. I decided to mess around with them in Lightroom, and came out with some cool stuff.
