a kramer birthday!

Sheesh!  It's been a week and a half since my birthday, and I can believe I haven't told you all about it yet! It realy was an awesome day filled with good food, and great friends!

 The day started off with breakfast (an egg scramble with sausage, peppers, and cheese) made by Matt Kelly.

 Birthday presents!  (which also included the biggest bottle of Bailey's that I've ever seen, not pictured here)

 Dinner at New World Bistro Bar (don't worry, I'll tell you all about the amazing time I had here tomorrow)

 Super birthday drinks with my girls!

 Large Birthday drink number 2 at Eldas (Note- if it's your birthday, go here for your drink!  It's not as crowded, you don't have to spend $15 dollars to get your drink like at Bombers, and you get to choose from a special birthday menu!  I chose a drink called "Great Sex!")

happy birthday FriendlyBrown!

That's right folks- it's FriendlyBrown's first birthday!  A year ago today, I started posting handmade knits on Etsy, and haven't looked back since!

It's been so much fun to spend my spare time doing what I love to do.  I sit, glass of wine in my hand, and create accessories that have traveled around the world. It's amazing, and I love it!

Yay for gifts!

Who doesn't like gifts? Giving them, getting them, pretending to like them or getting something you'll cherish forever- it's all good!

I recently knitted a pair of gloves for a birthday present for someone who found me on Etsy. How freaking cool is it that they chose me, lil old FriendlyBrown, to make something for their friend?! I was honored to make these gloves, and made sure to make them as quick as possible so they would get there for the big day!

Now they're all packaged up and will go out to a lucky lady in Jersey:




I even changed my card for the occasion

today, the coolest person ever was born- my sister.  happy birthday caitlin!  i love you and am so proud of you!
