Baltimore through an iPhone

We were only briefly in Baltimore last weekend, but we had enough time to walk around the harbor and enjoy the sites.  I haven't been there in quite some time, and it was beautiful (but windy!) out, so I drank in the sites as much as I could.  Here is what me and the old iPhone came up with.

I don't remember seeing this bridge the last time I was in Baltimore.  Is it new, or was I just drunk?

All in all, this trip was amazing.  It was really great to be back in the Delaware/ Maryland area after being in New York so long.  I shall visit you again soon!

Wine-o in Maryland

I love wine, but have never actually made it to a winery. I was so excited that we were going to a winery this past weekend, and it was so worth it! Boordy vineyards is a beautiful vineyard in the heart of Maryland.  Everyone there was super friendly and informative.  We were able to try a ton of wines and come out with a Boordy wine glass for only 5 bucks!  I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Look at that wine- isn't it beautiful?  I ended up with the Seyval/ Chardonnary/ Vidal Blanc.  It's a dry and super summery white.  I'm so excited to drink it on the back deck with Matt!

Ahhh!  Hoagies from Wawa!  Oh how I've missed you.  There are some things just make me feel like I'm home.

There was a small room with tables that you can sit down and enjoy your wine at.  Of course I took this opportunity to take some pictures!

Cork from the bottle of sangria we bought.  I think I lost it though.  I'm terrible at taking away souveniers.  I guess that's why I'm a photographer.

adventures of a dangerous photographer- part 2

Alright, I'll be honest.  I wasn't as inspired on the way back home from the super bachelorette weekend (probably because I got lost in Baltimore because my stupid GPS failed me and I was hungover), but I stuck with it and completed my series with some cool shots on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. I'd like to personally thank the NJTP and the Thruway for NOT having traffic.  You truly made my life a little easier.

That's UD in the distance.  If I weren't just sooo far from home, I would have stopped and gotten a slice at piece of pizza and taken a picture of the yellow house.  Damn you Yuengling, I drank too much of you!

It DID start raining, but only in spurts.  It was actually kind of cool.

I took a roadtrip down to PA/ Maryland this weekend for my best friend's bachelorette weekend.  I left work early on Friday, and while on the thruway,I started to get bored (obviously- I was by myself and started to get bored with my music). What else was I to do, but pull out my phone and start snapping shots?!  Honestly though, I was really inspired by this ride.  I had nothing but my music and my thoughts to keep me company, the weather was amazing, and I was finding beauty on every leg of this trip.  

This is DEFINITELY something I would NOT recommend doing, as it is very dangerous, and probably illegal, but I DID manage to get some great pics! I'm thinking that the good out-weigh the bad in this circumstance, but you can judge yourself...

This was probably taken within the first hour of the trip.  From this point on, I had the camera on my phone constantly on, so that it would be handy whenever I needed it.

 I juuuuuust missed the spot between exit 17 and 18 that me and Matt always try to get pictures of, but I DID get this cool photo of the orchards..

But I finally made it to PA!

Painted sky...

I just couldn't get enough of PA farmlands.  Wouldn't want to live on one, but they WERE beautiful, especially with the sun sinking in the sky.

I was actually stuck in traffic for this one.  Cool tree, and just acres and acres of farmland.

I wasn't alone for this one.  I DON'T think Brandi was too thrilled that I was shooting and driving.  Sorry B!

Finally made it to our winery destination (those pictures will have to be for another day)!
